Bodum Santos Electric Vacuum Coffee Maker
Bought the Santos last July. Enjoyed great coffee for several months. But the timer burnt up and we have not been able to get any response to phone calls or e-mails from Bodum USA to order a replacement. I’m ready to contact relatives in Denmark to see if they have any luck in getting a response from Bodum.
Many true coffee perfectionists prefer the vacuum brewing method. Vacuum brewing is also one of the oldest coffee brewing methods, but this superior method had largely given way to convenience ? until now!
The Bodum Santos Electric Vacuum Coffee Maker blends the convenience of an automatic drip coffee maker with the full body of a stovetop vacuum brewer. Vacuum brewing heats water in a bottom chamber, creating pressure that drives the water at the perfect temperature into the top chamber where it mixes with the ground coffee.
