Very impressive grinder. Quieter than any I’ve had before, and remarkably little static problems even in the dry air of southern Arizona. This machine replaced a Cuisinart CCM-16PC which was in the same price range.
The Capresso is significantly quieter, the grind is more even, and compared to the Cuisinart, static problems are non-existent (at least in the medium grinds I use). There may be quite a few more expensive grinders, but I’d be willing to wager they can’t do any better than the Capresso when it comes to grinding coffee. Read the rest of this entry »

The design of the Filter Belgique is itself done with a “silent attitude”, but the product incorporates a high content of design details which make it simple to use and nice to look at. In this way, it stands out from most of the same type of mass-market products.
The Filter Belgique design came from the same honest work that so many scarcely noticed everyday essentials emerge from. The Filtre Belgique fits easily into all Bodum coffee mugs and makes a proper cup of coffee just when needed.
Place your ground coffee in the top unit and pour water just off the boil. The water will slowly saturate the grounds and fill the cup full of delicious, robust coffee freshly infused just for you. The infuser fits all Bodum coffee mugs, in addition to the Bodum Kenya Mug that is included in this set. Read the rest of this entry »

The Aerobie AEROPRESS is an entirely new way to make coffee that has taken the coffee world by storm. This innovative new coffee maker is like a cross between a French press coffee maker, a manual drip brewer and an espresso machine.
After a few weeks of making my own fresh coffee nearly every day, I have concluded that the Aeropress Coffee & Espresso Maker system to my surprise does exactly everything that Aerobie says it does. It makes an extremely good tasting cup of coffee or espresso. The espresso tastes better than the one I tried at a local restaurant. And the regular American coffee is the best. I find it amazing that a device with simple plastic parts can make such a good cup of coffee. I would recommend the Aeropress Coffee & Espresso Maker system to anyone who loves coffee.
