For those of you who don’t want to sacrifice precious counter space, the folks at Gaggia made it simple. The Syncrony Compact Espresso Machine has a smaller footprint than the larger automatics, but still retains most of the features you want in a solid espresso machine. At the press of a button, this machine does it all - from grinding whole beans to dosing the exact amount of coffee. A two-step pre-infusion process ensures maximum flavor extraction and guarantees thick golden crema every time - guaranteed!
This impressive espresso machine has a sleek machine that is equipped with two boilers ? one steaming boiler and one stainless steel-lined thermoblock brewing boiler ? speeding up the initial heating process and regulating the Rapid Steam system, which allows you to move from brewing to steaming with little down time, making it extremely easy to create delicious cappuccinos.
A stainless steel Pannarello frothing attachment, enables you to froth and steam milk fabulously every time. LCD digital display alerts and programs- when cleaning and descaling based on water hardness, setting water temperature,pre-infusion and pre-grinding, and counts the cups brewed. Featuring five temperature settings, an on/off timer and clock, and three coffee volume settings, the Syncrony Compact Digital is the ultimate in flexibility and customization. Additionally, pre-ground or decaffeinated coffee can be added through the bypass doser.

Automatic Coffee Center
This is more then just an espresso machine. It is easily capable of making any style of cappuccino or latte. In fact, most of our customers use their Super Automatic espresso machines for “crema coffee” instead of drip coffee. Crema coffee is simply an espresso brewed to fill a regular coffee mug. This produces a much more aromatic and flavorful cup of coffee. As a result of the pressure brewed process (8 to 10 atmospheres of pressure!), the gravity based drip coffee systems simply cannot match. The Gaggia Compact will also produce hot water for Tea or Steamed Milk for Hot Chocolate!
Push Button Technology
It really does not get any easier then this. Just press the brew button and the machine does the rest. It will automatically grind and extract the coffee to your desired taste. When the coffee is finished brewing it will place the coffee grounds into an internal dump box for later disposal (it will even tell you when it is full). Depending on the size of the coffee that you are brewing it will be done in as quick as 35 seconds and ready to brew again.
Adjustable Beverage Volume
You have total control over the coffee volume (liquid) that is dispensed with two programmable buttons. These buttons come preprogrammed but can be changed easily to suit your needs.
Adjustable Dosing Feature
The Gaggia Compact has an adjustable doser which controls the amount of ground coffee used for each beverage (6 to 9 grams for a single shot and 12 to 18 grams for a double shot). Combine this ability with the “programmable volume control” and you have total control over coffee strength and flavor at the push of a button. Drop the drip machine forever!
Coffee Pre-infusion
This is another advantage of the Super Automatic coffee center. The first step takes about 2 seconds as it moistens and conditions the ground coffee. Next a 2 second pause allows the aromatic oils to leach from the interior of the coffee. The second step activates the high pressure pump to ensure absolute maximum flavor extraction with a perfect crema topping.
Bypass Doser
This is used with ground coffee only. Perfect for those occasions when you don’t want to be “caffeinated” or have decaf-only guests. This is also useful for experimenting with different types of coffees. If you are naturally a decaf drinker then use the bypass doser for regular instead. This has proven to be a highly sought after feature.
Adjustable Coffee Spout
The dispensing spout slides up or down to adjust for different size cups, from small espresso cups up to large mugs.
Cup Warmer
Preheating your cups is important. The Syncrony Compact will hold up to six espresso cups and is passively heated. When the machine is on the cup warmer is being heated.
Professional Conical Burr Grinder
The grinder has 18 settings providing plenty of control. You can grind from fine to coarse to accommodate any style of coffee roast. Light, medium or dark, espresso or regular
coffee beans.

Hot Water Dispenser
Hot water is instantly available by turning the steam/hot water control knob. Makes 8 oz for a cup of tea or hot cider in about 30 seconds.
Improved Turbo Frother Steam Wand
The Gaggia Compact comes equipped with a stainless steel steam wand that is covered by a newly designed frothing wand. The new design makes great froth every time with no problems. The Compact has a continuous steam system that draws from the reservoir as is required so you never have to worry about running out of steam when you have friends over.

Water Reservoir

Removable Brew Group
The Gaggia Compact’s brew group is easy to remove. Just open the front door and remove with the thumb release lever. This gives you access to everything that brews the coffee. Normal maintenance would include a quick rinse and dry.

Holds 7.5 oz of fresh whole bean coffee - about enough for 25 espressos before refilling.
