Super automatic espresso machines give you the complex flavor of pressure-brewed coffee at the simple touch of a button. When a brewing button is pressed, super autos grind whole beans you’ve put into the machine, tamp the grounds, and brew a savory drink. After brewing is completed, the used grounds are discarded in an internal container for disposal at a later date.
Super automatics allow you to choose the amount of coffee that is brewed (within the unit’s specified parameters) and change how coarsely or finely the coffee is ground so that you can properly adjust the machine to produce a brew that suits your taste. In addition, every super automatic has either a wand or other attachment that allows you to steam and froth milk, as well as dispense hot water.
The C1300 features a dial-and-push design and a LCD display panel. Turn the dial to select one or two cups, number of ounces and brew strength. For added convenience, preferences can be programmed so the machine will remember how you like your coffee.
